Took a few pics of my caddy today, its booked in to be resprayed in a month.....Nimbus grey, I think still not too sure.

The first pic is inside the bed...does anyone know what the black plastic bung is on the left of the drainage hole ???

I'll post pics up of interior soon.....before and afters....it'll be slow progress.....here goes....

Like the cover?? (pink flowers)......thats for the 08 festival season....

Thanks hoppygti for that one.

the plastic bung aint standard, maybe someone put some rings or similar in for strapping stuff down, and someone else removed them?!

progress is slow......but check out the new workshop it should be complete by the end of the week.......then i'll make a start on the caddy.....finally

4.5m wide 30m long.......theres gonna be three of us in here working on various motors. Luckily enough the other two fellas have lots of experience with cars, one having been a ford mechanic for 5 years the others got lots of body work experience.......as for me, I'm an electrician, so this is a big learning curve for me.....can't wait.....

The strip down.

Been busy this weekend, striped the inside and dropped the engine, I'll let the photos do the talkin....

Gonna jet wash and clean up the engine bay this week, tidy up the cab then start on the bodywork. gotta do a bit of welding blanking and de-seaming
Also make a start on the new engine just tidy it up, sand blast and paint.

Does anyone know of some good paint to paint the engine preferably heat resistant ??

Hopefully by the weekend the
bulkhead will be out,
clutch plate welded up,
and the body work shall begin.
