got my caddy last month recently been doin some work so i thaught i would post up some piks.

dads m8 come over today to sort the holes out in my floor.





plate was welded top and bottom, then sprayed over with some protectable stuff..

then whilst dad n dave were fidling with the caddy's i started to outline the letters on my tail gate using a colour i mixed, its reli dark so its very hard to see unless its in the sun or good light, this took me most of the day but stil isnt finished yet but pleased so far!!








also a couple of piks of dads caddy we picked up from caddyrage on saturday....

as dad has been working on the t4 the last few days we havent been aple to do much to my caddy, but now the t4 is fixed the focus is now towards my caddy. had a bit of bother gettin the driveshafts off but nothing the grinder couldnt fix!! finaly got the engine out to day but was a bit of a scweez

Oh right, probs would of had it if you was getting rid so i can rplace the rat engine with blown head gasket lol!

some more progress piks from today, dave (dads m came round whilst i was at work and done an excellent work with the welder again, filled in a few lil holes in the engine bay, fitted a new plate where the clutch pulls through the bulk head, filled a huge hole in the left wheel arch and sorted out the dodgy bodge of the door pillar hinge section which is now sorted (see piks) only after piks of this bit im afraid.

soory for the poopi piks was dark when i took them


couple lil holes filled...





replacement clutch piece in the bulkhead...


left wheel arch..from the inside....


from the outside....


then SORTED door hinge section which was a complete bodge job full of lumpy welding and filler then painted over......

liking this thread! what will you be doing once you have removed the seam sealer, are you treating the metal then filling?! sorry 2 be nosy as ill be doing this myself later this week
