mk1 caddy, mot/tax/modded, £800

timewaster on ebay says he cant pay or pickup for 3 weeks despite advert saying needed gone in 7 days. Not prepared to wait want it gone asap.

start with the good points

* mot'd til 26th of feb and taxed til the end of march
* 1.6D so very good on fuel 50mpg
* lowered on coil-overs on the front and rear on flipped axle and 2 inch blocks with shortened shocks.
* been painted matt brown(can tell u where to get the paint from in spray cans)
* red strip grille
* has a custom, properly made flat rear window, these are not cheap and look so much better than the horrible factory ones.
* chrome interior bits, speakers in the door
* gti brakes
* chrome trim along the side,
* pretty solid truck - hasn't had loads of welding work and doesn't need it.
* tailgate in good condition
* bed wavey but pretty solid
* cant see any welding that is needed for mot.
* spare low mileage engine and 5 speed gearbox and all my other spares included if wanted.
* recent oil and filter changes
* gti seats

bad points.

* 4 speed box, good around town but not so good for long motorway trips, cruises at 70 tho, 5 speed box included tho.
* has a dint in passenger rear quarter as seen in pics, probably cud be pulled out, i think its adds to the look of the car and tbh its not that noticeable.
* chip in screen not sure if its a mot fail or not, been their since i got the caddy.
* engine is getting a bit old now, still runs well tho, just a noisy diesel.
* slight blow in exhaust system
* a cv boot needs replacing (cost about £6)
* a track rod end will need replacing (£
* sloppy gear linkage, selects all gear fine and u get used to it (a bush kit is £13)
* over spray on window rubbers from past paint jobs
* wing mirrors held on with zip ties
* paint is ruff but its adds to the look of the car.
* taken thermostat out as it was stuck closed, havnt replaced it yet.

in Sheffield, please no timewasters or dreams i had enough of em. NO swaps
£800 no offers if no takers its gettin stripped and fragged be a real shame as its a solid truck.

its petrol, 1.8cl, pretty good on fuel still, at least 35mpg average run.
i reckon its worth about £750...

long mot and tax, just done the rear wheel bearings, dizzy cap, coil, leads and plugs.
spent over £600 over the last year, on bits and bobs.

bassically its a solid and reliable daily.

its a p reg mk3 in metallic green
