    Another Caddy

I will be picking up another Caddy in late March, it is all original with the exception of the wheels.
!981 Caddy with 54K on the clock. Has had a topper on it from day one. Looks to be in excellent condition from pics I have seen. It has spent
33 out of 38 years in California.

No big plans, lower it a little, some nice wheels, take out the 1.7L 4 speed and replace it.

    Did you import it nobug?

Been trawling Craigslist and there are some nice examples.

I’m in alberta and I’m sure all an import needs is an out of province inspection done within 45 days

    BBB
I saw two rabbits in a field the other day..... I'm going to call at the house and see if they're for sale

    Then let the teardown begin

I found it on the samba website, I will be importing it in March on my way home from FL, not hard to import if it is over 15 years old.
Have to pay part of the tax at the border and the balance at motor vehicle when you register it. Few other things you have to do before arriving at the border.

Finally got it home, started tinkering with it a little. first to go were the green wheels.
Polished up some 14" le castellets and installed some new rubber on them.
Have the le castellet wheels in both 14" and 15" will be polishing up the 15's to use also.
Searching for some parts and going over it to see what I will be needing.

That's a nice looking motor you've found yourself.
