Seemed like a nice day for a swim

So me and the van went for one

Annoyingly, the phone fell over when I'd started pushing a stupid-sized bow wave

Yes mate. I’ve been down there but I was in a jacked up Range Rover classic. It’s a nice pub.

    You don't need a range rover when you've got a caddy :P

I think mine would drown in there or beach itself.

Well I do get accused of having 4x4 ride height. If you've got it, might as well use it!

Good effort! How high was water on the body? Surprised it didn't flood the filter box

I screwed up a bit and got a bow wave going, which was lapping the front of the bonnet (the deepest bit was where my phone fainted and came back around looking at the trees).

There was a bit of dampness in the bottom of the filter box when I came out, but the inlet pulls air from the top, so as long as you don't sink the inlet for a prolonged period, it'll be reet,..... probably.

I'd say the level probably went to the top of the wheels.

Good laugh and glad I did it? Definitely, worth it for the look on the faces of the family walking down the footpath. Would I have done it if I hadn't got a spare engine in the shed? Probably not. Would I recommend trying it? Not for a F'n minute!
