    Which stepside?

There's only money if you know what your doing, and have a good reliable contact. But then its still a gamble and a near 3 month wait chewing your finger nails. But yes I will be bringing more in this year, I just need to sell my Escort to free up some more cash!

Cummins is interesting on a ratrod, but for pretty trucks your better off sticking with SBC or SBF's

My man has this 58 Apache in his "collection" that he would sell if you had £25k to part with. Is in show condition with a 350 SBC, modern A/C etc. Was built about 20 years ago.

These are the pickups to have right now, they drive well and look the bollox, and will put down a pair of 11's a mile up the road!

Would be about £11k shipped and duties paid

It would seem its best to buy a 50s truck for sub 10k and do it up yourself. But in reality the cost of shipping parts and import duty from the States doesnt make it cost effective. You have to remember the majority still have their old side valve engines in them which are normally knackered so your into the cost of fitting a V8 straight away.

When you weigh up the costs your better off digging deep and buying something like the Apache above as you are straight into enjoying it. Or like I said above, ease yourself in with a late 60s to early 80s truck.

You have to remember also that the shipping & landing costs are the same regardless of value, the only difference is the duty, which is 5% on on the classics

The 56 F100 above was offered with either a Y block or a 390 FE for extra money
