I fancy something American and pre 60s

There used to be a few old trucks on here. Are there still?

What do people like and why?

    Let's see some pictures!

Nah just google images, but I have been interested in Model A pickup's for a while. Who doesn't want a V8 rumble in their chest?

    How deep are your pockets?

50's trucks look good but drive like shit.

Yes you can fit modern clips etc etc.. But VOSA are really hotting up on the 8 point rule come May the 20th (which coincides with the new MOT laws), so many will loose there historic status or will have to have an SVA and go onto a Q plate!

And......... The Fords drive better and have better build quality. In fact old Fords are generally a million times better than the poor built GM

I get offered trucks virtually every day, but everyone and his dog a bringing them in!

I just got this Genuine 300hp 1969 Mach one in from Cali for my Brother (B1GVR)

My mate bought this Nodel A in and sold it straight away, but it was a very original and rare pickup. Sold for around 14k

Yeah.. rare spec to, has the "M" code engine and is what they call "rainbow of colors", which were special colours only available for California in 1968 & 9, the Marti report shows there were only ever 1223 Mustangs ever built in that colour (across the model range)

To be honest Alistair, you would be better off with a late 60s/early 70s pickup to feel your way into them

C10's and F100s are really getting popular now as they look good and drive reasonably well, these were my two:

I got this in the workshop at the mo, luckily I get to play and don't have to fork out for the joy of it.

I'm working on this too, does that count as a big old yank? It's being built for a rather famous British film director, it's a bit pimp inside

I like those 61-67 Econolines but have absolutely no use for one lol. So much better than a VW Splitty or Bay IMO

    Was offered this, this afternoon

    1976 factory fitted 7.5ltr (454 big Block) Automatic (425hp)

These are the pickups to have right now, they drive well and look the bollox, and will put down a pair of 11's a mile up the road!

Would be about £11k shipped and duties paid
