little update, havent touched the caddy in a month or two now, eager to get back into it. still have quite a bit to do till paint, and still need to find some cheap wheels to see how they fit with the arches..

But in the mean time, this little thing has been taking up my time, so far every week theres a problem with it.. hopefully it'll be good from here on out... after i get the gearbox bell housing welded up

Luckily it was cheap as chips due to shoddy paintwork, but mechanically it was/is sound

little update, getting there.. got seat and pedal box tacked in place, went all out on a wilwood setup, may aswell just get everything brand new at this point..

got a set of wheels, they're ok for now fit quite well, 15x8 on rear with some 205s, and 15x9 on front with 225 r888s et0

im tempted to buy axle off al to drop the rear more, it's still quite high

pedal mounts welded up, kinda proud of these ones.

    tacked in place

and seats tacked in place, forgot to take picture of the mounting bars

still have to fully weld it all in, figure out throttle pedal too, weld passenger mounts in etc..
then i still have body work, fix arches and few bits and bobs before paint.

Perhaps a side skirt between the arches will help your aero?

Some cracking progress though, you must be chuffed

Yeah I think I need to make something up, I kinda like the rigde height as it is but there will be so much air under the truck so I think I'll have to go lower

finally got some progress on the caddy, lots of measuring and cutting, but the engine is finally in its resting place, still a ton of work to do, but progress nonetheless.

welding plates on chassis rails, did 2mm plates ontop of eachother which leveled out the rail and added 10mm thickness.

forgot to take pics before and after of chassis rail, but we cut it out for extra clearence as it was tight putting engine in.

Still a lot of work to do, but a lot of progress has been made, need to make front and rear engine mounts still, x brace, front reinforcement piece, figure out driveshafts etc.

    one step at a time.

Some pics are messed up and reverted, not sure why..sorry about that.
