    Metal Offcuts

    sourcing the odd bit of alloy / steel etc is always an expenisve pain in my experience.

    Agree, its extortionate to buy in bits n pieces, bulk is completely different.

    When im welding stuff up its normally cheaper for me to cut up products that I have for sale! Sometimes saves time to, like the battery tray in rubber duck

    what do people use as cutting lube? I just bought one of those bendy arms to squirt cutting fluid....

    any suggestions?

    I use a can of this stuff at work called dormer supercut and thats pretty decent

    its funny, when u first showed the battery holder in the project thread, I though "fuck me" he's cut a pretty hole in the side and everything

    now i know.....

    Cold pressed goose fat in the south, or spit if you oop north.
