    A couple more of the rear end mocked up and the rear beam end plates i changed from the mk1 layout to a mk4 golf pattern to accept a mk4 stub axle and mk4 sealed bearings it also utilises the points a mk4 caliper carrier would which is a dual purpose caliper for the handbrake too

    Its an early 12v, trying to keep it period correct

    Had the caddy about three years, but the welding work started about a year and a half ago, work has been done on weekends and unfortunatly its not practical to do it inside where i keep it so if it rains it stops play and being the uk dry days are few and far between

    Had a little spare time this morning so took care of the other b pillar 20171025_135744.jpg cleaned up what i had previously cut out 20171025_140817.jpg
    Made this repair panel out of 20 gauge sheet steel, tacked and stitch welded it round 20171025_151351.jpg
    And finally lanished it back ready for a coat of paint
