If your not happy, can you not re-drill the mounting holes on the brackets that bolt to the legs and move it all back.
Looks great, by the way. Get it outta the garage and get some full shots.
Thanks pal
It's all shits and giggles until someone giggles and shits!
There are specific blade bumper mounts which would bring them closer..
Gap looks OK, do u want me to measure mine?
Wanna buy my vr6 so you can sound less boring and beat slim?
The gap does look on the large side, the bumper irons are threaded to take the bolts, so drilling them probably wouldn't work.
Just buy the correct bumper brackets
Cut and shut the irons?
Redrill the irons and weld on new captive nuts? - remove the mounting bolts, push the bumper in until it sits just right, mark the irons through the holes in the chassis rail, remove bumper irons and drill as per marks - maintaining the same centreline height as per the original holes. Weld on nuts. Re-paint irons.
Or just buy new ones - depends on your mentality/frugality.
I didn't have originals, and the repo ones where quite shonky I remember.
I'd be more worried about that gap from the wing to the front panel!
Cracking colour combo with those wheels though![]()
Pffff, does it go or does it not. I'm a looks OK at 25m kind of guy![]()
