i was looking at how you fitted yours before i cut mine lol.
not a great deal of information about but i kinda pieced bits together and adapted some ideas till I got what I was happy with. still along way from testing it though lol as we still have half of the caddy to weld up.
Ant what size fuse are you running on your eps?

Had a good day on the caddy today.
kinda forgot i was putting a hydraulic clutch on so had to adapt the steering coloum again.
removed the lower collar that I had put on and made one that bolted around the body using one of the original brackets from the eps

then once we had completed that we had to modify one of Al's hydro brackets

thanks to Al sending me a long cotter pin I haven't had to modify the pedal at all so I will now have an eps coloum and hydralic clutch all mounted on the original coloum fixings

I have some cleaning up to do then it will look oem

mounting the hydro was easy, followed your insruction to the letter.
making the new colloum fit was time consuming.
just need to clean in side of the new coloum then mount it all on monday.
took my time as I wanted it to all bolt together and mount on the original brackets etc. look oem and it will be solid the way that I have done it.

bought that v5 box and will pick it up tmro.

did you manage to make up some mk4 pedal brackets?

and my mate finished the drivers side repairs

a few patches still to do on the drivers side which i have made, just need to cut in and weld up.
Wednesday evening were starting on the passingers side and hopefully my bits for the bulkhead turn up tmro so I can finish off the engine bay.

Eps fits in there perfectly. I bought a motor years ago to do mine, maybe I'll get round to it eventually

I'd recommend ditching the silly rod system and going direct. Though u'd expect to loose loads of space, it tucks in behind the engine well

Yes you would need to modify it a bit, but seeing as you are chopping up everything, it might be worth considering

I wouldn't be doing this if I wasn't lucky enough to have access to all the tooling etc and of course the 4 post lift lol

still alittle more metal to come off of the inner wing then I can start replacing the metal and making it look better than it does now lol
