Another set of wheels on the van. Was sick of the mis matched wheels so took these off the golf.
Means I'll actually get on and do the paintwork on it instead of driving it. 😂
Think I'm going to sell the rh splits and repaint the multispoke ones as I think I prefer them.

A good old pat on the back.
Not really sure who I'd put money on to finish first.

Bought a couple of compressors and a tank for my airride so hopefully soon be able to get the front setup fitted. Then it'll be to fab up a rear system.
Gave it a wash tonight as I'm off to the annual mk1 owners with a couple of mates, it's covered in black tar spots. Never have a yellow vehicle.
FFS! I changed those as well (Nov 2013), unless to guy who had it between you and me put on some shorter (shaggeder) items. If they are the standard length items I fitted, I've found another reason not to use ECP.....
    I officially owe Mk2 Pickup a pint!

    They were original long shocks.
Not sure if it's had a different axle fitted as the flip job looks, well interesting. Doesn't look like the plates have been welded onto the axle just placed in. Old ones are still on the top and the unwelded ones look like a bit of channel with a notch.

Finally had the dent in the rear sorted,
Bloke next door to my work owed me a favour so said he would sort it.
Was thinking of selling the rh rims I bought for it but then ended up buying a new pair of dishes. . Will make them 17x9 on the rear.
Found a pic from a local show I went to in August. Absolutely nailed it down as we arrived so got rather lathered up.

Had another running issue, thought the turbo had finally let go after boosting at 24psi for a while. Turns out my fuel filter was full of shit. New one fitted and back to thrashing the nuts out of it again.
