Elroy's ' big turbo' build, part III

Morning people, well I've managed to pick up my toys that were thrown. Getting back on the horse brushing myself down and ready to face the barage of abuse...... So let's have it.

Just a few things girls first.

    A) a stainless manifold WILL be made by me, whether it cracks or looks shit
the gearbox will be stripped serviced and lsd installed by me
    C) the injectors will be calculated to whatever the tuning companies recommend, not coz your mate has them in his 'cozzie'
    D) I will spend more money, coz I can
    E) if I blow it up, I'll just rebuild it.
    f) why assume what practical things I can and can't do.

I don't want to hear ' you can't or it won't' unless it's backed with good hard emperical evidence.

And finally, I am doing my homework.... I've learnt lots, probably a lot more than you think..... Why!!!

Coz it's not fucking rocket science!!

    Lol well done wee man

For the record, (as I dunno how it comes across when you read what I write) I never intend abuse or upset by my posts, they are always based on my own experience. And "by me" is basically the ethos of this forum, unlike almost every other,

Unless its aimed at monkey in which case abuse is probably intended.

Have you looked at 321 for your fanimold?

I deleted the last two threads, because I was just fed up of the complete negativity and unsupportive posts, I am out of my depth with this...it's quite daunting knowing the money I've just spent, I could've bought a spanking new caddy. But I'd like to do this with all your help and it'll be well documented for future reference by folk in ten years time. This forum is frequented by very clever people who've done this before and I will listen to all advice, but the problem is some of the advice being offered contradicts other advice offered by other professional people who tune for a living, that's where I'm torn! I question everything, it's my nature I look at things 'outside the box'.... Always have!

And I get the feeling some folk just wanna see me fail, purely so they can say ' I told you so' but isn't life about pushing boundaries?

I'm 99% sure that's not true. and 99% positive most people don't actually have the experience that you need, nobody that i'm aware of builds or designs reliable twice the stock hp motors on here for a living, but some like slim have been down the road and actually done it

just don't do a numbers and give up.

Very smart, I'll put up some pictures of all my shiny bits later as I'm working, shouldn't you being doing the same? Haven't you finished picking up that 54 mile long line of cones yet haggis boy?

Yes very good quality stuff, don't exclude Rica neither. I install a roca toilet pan and seat the other week worth a staggering 1500 notes, the lid was signal red and padded. Looked amazing!!
