You have to etch prime / epoxy BEFORE you seam seal. DO NOT put seam sealer on bare metal

Most seam sealers require a corrosion resistant base to be applied over.
I wold imagine a zinc primer would fulfil this requirement.

I've been tinkering away, not sure if I should put the bed on yet. But here's where I'm at today...

I have had a bash at fitting the floor pan. I have only rough fitted it, I plan to chop both new and old panels and seamlessly marry them. So prepare yourselves for a cluster fuck!

I didn't chop the other rotted section that has the jacking point as I feared chopping too much away and having no point of reference.

How did you fit the studs that the fuel and brake lines screw on to?

Finally the floor pan is in. I'm really proud of my effort despite a few errors that took time to remedy.

And I went to buy the little rail section that fits on the floor pan and they wanted £50!! So I saw what Al did and made a shit version of that.

I thought I'd sort my rear window next. It had already been repaired well by the last owner, however he didn't paint the interior metal hence the rust. What a shame. I've chopped quite a bit out but I'll await new panels before I proceed as I may end up getting lost.

Aside from my compressor deciding to melt its electrics, I've mostly gotten my bulkhead repaired. I have some lovely new panels from retrofication so I'm looking forward to popping them in this weekend.

I've been getting on with a few tasks and its beginning to look fairly ok.
I've popped in the inner and outer rear window sections and I've primered the bed and cross members before I fit it on.

I've fixed a few holes around the windows too.

Thanks. Front panel next, then I think I'll get the whole thing media blasted to make sure all the shell is sorted before primer.
Then I need to learn about the world of filler. I know it will be difficult to get right.
