    Mk2 syncro 1.8t

Most of you know I bought this last month and you think im http://www.vwcaddy.com/showthread.ph...olf-3dr-syncro

It was being built on ed38 and the original owner was going to vrt it. It like many other projects got sold on for some reason or another. I did try messaging the guy but he just blanked me! Rude bastard

It was sold on via friend and then Davie On here had it up for sale as he has bought a prepped shell for his new project

This is how it was originally

It currently looks like this but front suspension has been stripped and I've built a dolly to roll it around on so I can re-paint it in the original beige

It came with an AGU and 02m

Original syncro diff still in place! Rear beam will be stripped blasted and powder coated once I've fitted the Haldex in place of the original

Engine bay has been semi smoothed

New wishbones and ball joints arrived today, bought some drilled and grooved rear discs at the weekend will need rear calipers and mounting brackets, I think I'll need some decent stoppers on the front!
Going to collect the bits before I start building this so I can get it together quickly

Unfortunately not davie! Although I have got a haldex bracket to mount the diff now, trying to source parts before I make a start, I've also bought the paint and just bought a pair of type 19 doors complete with glass etc for £16 of eBay

    How's yours coming along?
