Because if you'd watched 10000 BC you'd realise that they don't work unless there's a marksman with a rifle just off camera

Very difficult to fashion an arrow that works, takes time to be accurate enough when shooting one to hit anything beyond 5m and plenty skill and patience to track an animal to get that close. - crashing through the forest, talking loudly and being a general clutz aint gonna work.

Find evidence of animal activity (dens/burrows) or near watering holes and set snares/nets - wait with knives and clubs, it worked in series one when they found a croc and quite rightly shat themselves at the propect of trying to deal with an angry croc.

The tree hugging fluffies moaned about them killing an endangered species - so maybe they are not allowed to hunt anything other than the 'wild' animals that Bear Grylls put there a few weeks ago.

The very tame pigs that miraculously appeared during series two were a bit suspect.

You can't doubt that they are starving as you can see how much weight they have lost.

Surprised they've not tapped up Erika the farmer for some bitty as she looks the motherly type

watched it, thought the latest series is better, still doesn't strike me as LOL funny. About as amusing as detectorists but not as well written and only one decent comic actor in the cast. (bloke with curly hair who has been good in everything I've seen him in - stavros?? stellias??)

Used to be some good comedy on Three but I've not even watched it once since it moved to online.

Yes I've seen it, some good bits but on a whole I was expecting a bit more. I'm maybe being a bit critical but it looked a little rushed or is that just me?

Either way it was still better than any other TV program at present. hopefully the next episode wont be too far away.
