7" dvd player in the dash on mine acts as a rear view mirror, Reversing camera on the roof but wired to the now defunct demister wire.
Just hit the switch and it slides out and on.

Running an ASV at an alleged 140 myself. The aim is 180ish

180 is a good place to be it's relatively cheap to achieve with a mk4 golf1749vb turbo and a few other bits after that it all gets a bit silly! expensive clutches etc I said I would stop once it becomes a pain to drive daily! 220+ and no fear of that yet .

    you mean lightweight racing doors!
look at the amazing weight saving of those thin bits of steel rather than glass, rubbers and wiper mech
That stop nosey people looking in, No glass to break.

To be fair that's what I like about my solid rear doors. Not to be a scene queen but when I'm in a field camping no nosey bugger can see in.

At least yours is on the road going through evolution. Mine went through a kind of evolution without seeing the road and now we all know how it’s ended up.

Well bit more done! finally got round to fitting my fuel cooler.fitted it in the same place as a mk4 golf. I wanted to make it look factory so made a tool to push in the quick release fittings to the caddy fuel pipe.
Trial run on a spare pipe20180127_175904.jpg
Then time to do same on the van
    20180201_140139.jpg
    Cooler all fitted
    20180201_145817.jpg
And how the pipes now look fed back into place

From research and the power I'm at I think so. The 11mm pump and lift pump will genarate a lot more heat. All the Pd's and alh autos use one. Time will tell

Had a moment this week thinking my newly rebuilt gearbox had incontinence issues!!! Turns out after a bit of investigation I had a leaky nipple! On my vac pump. I have 2 spare pumps and they are both leaking!! Managed to bag a nos one on flea bay for £75 result even a cheap copy was 90 quid! Tps wanted £295 ffs
