    they changed from plastic to metal on mk4 didnt they? or was it the other way around? one type broke up

    Plastic ones broke up. Plus they sound awful, the plastic hitting the water really grates my eardrums.

    pretty sure they are usually changed over to metal cause the plastics ones fail, i'd be sending it back for a metal one...
