Well that looks like a decent 'shell. Before you get carried away polishing every part possible, what plans do you have for it ?

Options :- VR6 that Dan was going to put in his caddy but has given up on !
    20vt several choices
Rebuild the GTI engineering block (1900)that came with it,maybe crossflow it,throttle bodies, bit to think about

Should've said fishy man, could get you a '79 shell over here for peanuts....
I used to own it myself but it would've only sat next to my caddy and they could have collected dust together.

Dont know mate, the plan is to get this one down to a bare shell then Im hoping a chap up the road who has built his own acid dip bath will dip it for me ?

While thats going on try and get on with cleaning up the caddy,1st hiccup today the slow puncture in one of the bbs turned out to be in the rim so this afternoon spent stripping that down.

Not much happened of late due to a very busy mackerel season, which has now come to an abrupt end due to the weather and xmas, changing over to netting, and then the next couple of weeks to hopefully progress both the caddy and series 1.

    ABF on carbs Al

And pure unadulterated bragging, just shy of 400st of mackerel, top prices, our best ever gross mackerelling £3,600 for the day....Happy fucking Christmas
