    Cheers guys, didn't really get much done in the 2 weeks i had left had a few problems which was annoying.
    Going to try and get it moved down to Cornwall, and onto base so then its only a few meters from me!

    and the guys walked out the plane, the guy landing it apparently just froze (and locked up), he'd just passed his test etc, and bought that, was his first flight in it!
    and that in the back ground is my dads trike (old 1600 beetle engine).

    a bit of progress before i left for Cornwall last week
    went to fit the turbo and mani;

    so had to cut away at the scuttle

    bonnet on;

    then made a rear engine bracket/mount, thanks to some guy on the net!;

    was a bit tight tacking it;

    then wallah;

    and as she stood when i left;

    'My first turbo', is it? :S that probably why it runs at 300 ponies

    Bought it from here;
    http://www.part-box.com/product_info...ducts_id=18218
    But got it with a discount and ARP Bolts.
    It was the cheapest place, I was shopping around for about 4 months.

    yeah about £680 is cheapest I've seen. Why did you choose wavetrac?

    Was looking at Peloquins and Quaifes for a while, was very close to buying a Quaife, then got recommended the Wavetrac, over the them, did a bit of research and apparently they are the best one you can get for that sort of money.
    I got mine for £760, with the ARP bolts and posted. Had to wait 4 weeks though as they ordered straight from the USA, but I'm in no rush

    I bought a diesel mk3 box (ASD), for £30, just for the 5th gear, and im pretty sure that's got LSD in it!

    edit; heres a decent review regarding the Wavetrac;

    Not much done recently, as I have to travel home to work on it, but when I do, I just wanna chill at home, see family and friends etc, so decide to move it down to Cornwall soon...
    Anyway, what I have done;
    Found out the front shocks are for a polo!

    The rear engine/gearbox bracket I made;

    Removed the old standard seat runners;

    Ground down and hovered in there!

    Tested the seats;

    But I think they're too thick, and could do with ones with a thinner back....

    So picked these up the other day;

    Which currently make great film watching chairs!

    Shots of it before I left;

    so she finally arrived on Saturday after being messed around with the transport...

    and her new spot for a while;

    first job is to get the new seats welding in

    so had to weld up the holes in the floor pan that i created from taking the old standard rails out....

    made a start on the seat base;

    which will sit something like this:

    but i 'calculated' them wrong! so had to move them a touch forward...

    finally got them perfect and welded them in, and primered;

    and the seat in and bolted down;

    Unfortunately havent got enough angle iron to do the other seat so that can wait!

    next, removed the front panel as i need to mod the front beam to allow my new intercooler to fit, and the current one is not great...;

    and the finished article;

    then got onto the wiring again!;

    just two wires im not sure of behind the fuse box;

    any ideas??

    also, any ideas what these are in the engine bay?

    then got onto the engine loom!;

    and pretty much wired in...

    New toy as mines starting to vibrate...

    Started on cleaning the tank;

    Gave it one lick of paint. Needs a couple of more

    Fitted the fuel filler cap and hose;

    New handbrake cables fitted;

    And anyone know why the flap sits out of the panel?

    Can't think why it would do it to be honest. My last one wasn't like this... Cheers.
