MK2 Golf cable has to be from the 1.3

Only the early Corrados had cables and converter and are hard to find

Well rain stopped play today so Finally got pedal box out, swapped brake pedals and installed .. Just need to sort the hoses
How does the little nipple go do I flair the pipe to fit in or just put over the plastic inner pipe?? If that makes sence?

Also got mount off in one piece and ground off made a little hole with cold chisel but will be welded up obviously

Slide your end fitting over the pipe 1st,then ease the sleeve away from the plastic inner just enough to get the collar over the inner plastic, then place the 2nd part over the collar and bring the end fitting down and screw up trapping the outer braid if that makes sense

Nice one fisherman... Thats basically what I was doing but as the plastic pipe inside the Braid will need flaring / bevelling ..slightly made me doubt my self.. I'd already slid the fitting down the line already

    Sorry just re- read !!
So I poke that little beveled piece over the the inner plastic pipe as if the pipe could go through it ?? I just thaught as it's beveled it would go inside not over the pipe?

There's a vid from the fittings manufacturer on youtube that shows how exactly how it's done

Yes then your last piece goes inside the plastic inner core and when you bring them together and tighten, the bevelled collar will then be tightened down onto the inner with the end fitting tube to tighten against

If you can find Monkeys link obviously that will explain it more clearly

make sure the end of the hose is cut clean.

slide the locking nut up the hose

Next peel the braid away from the plastic inner a little

Then push the olive on until its as far as it will go

    then push the fitting in

And then pull the locking nut back down the hose and tighten to the fitting
