    So since I got it last week..... I did this (the small# not the large # ):


    And I was itching to find out what I was getting mpg wise (oh my fucking god what has happened to me? I'm dying inside)

    So with a smidge over 1/2 a tank still remaining, I re-brimmed it:



    Think that equates to 6.4207 gallons, 402 miles.... a tidy 62.6mpg

    i got 68 mpg in my passat on a run down south (400 miles total) 1Z TDI

    is the petrol station manager related to James Callaghan?

    Yeah but that's mostly downhill mate, it would have been much less on the run back up north.
