Went to VW this morning, for a 109 relay. Got the Lads in there quite moist

    "......is that........diesel...?"

Also got a nice comment from my other half
"It's nice you finally have a car where everyone on the street isn't looking at you as if you are a bellend"

Take an unpopular car, with the least desirable engine option, rip that out and fit an even less desirable clanky old oil burner in it's place - you have now had all scene point's revoked and are officially as cool as aids....

Obsession with MPG is just the early signs, I think I'm about to go full blown OEM - it's tie dye and aircooled from there....

Thought I should add some pikturs

Daily update.... just over 220 miles covered, 1/4 tank

although that does of course ask - "how big is the tank", it took 55L on its first fill

    First mods done:
    De-rattle interior...

    Second mod done:
    109 replacement

Unfortunately, Rich needed to keep his chickens somewhere and chose the 'Rado for a wee while, so that might be next to do...

I think the gauge may drop quite quick soon, as for the relay 109 I've heard loads of stuff about it but what does it actually do??

As for the interior PPE equipment as it may not be the chickens and what are you going to use to clean it G101?

mmm might ECU main Power? Not sure. Rich said they fuck up then the engine wont start so this was a precaution

    G101?

A hoover maybe.... done think i have detailed anything in my life, this'll be "a bit of a clean".

Went on detail world yesterday to find some window rubber cleaning recommendations, but that place is way too deep. I'm still amazed there is a "car cleaning" forum/club

Dogs in cars - grips my piss, the delica stank of dog when I got it, clumps of rank dog hair everywhere.

Nice looking car, ideal for your purposes, i'd have that quite happily - just change that rear number plate - it lets the whole car down
