Thought about them, but then you can't have the adjustable topmounts, then thought about making adjustable ones but incorporated in the Coltech ones but never got round to it,one things for sure don't want to go any lower my sump is pretty vulnerable at the height it is now ?

I don't subscribe to that logic I might add

What’s happened Dave, apart from the obvious engine removal?

Yes but its been a bit conjested for the last year or so,Monday we got the series 1 up to Lee,s so that I could have a clear up and move things on,hopefully not to long before its in paint ? Not decided yet but might get rid of the servo before putting the engine back in the caddy ?

Gather from Elroys post you had trouble again, hope it was not to serious ?

My mates just finished his series 1, full strip down job, welded and painted.

Remove servo as in totally or move to the other side?

I always have problems think the race fuel had gone stale!

Was thinking pedal box inside ,will have a look at how much work involved today, the chromed servo is starting to look a little worse for wear with no way to get it back chromed properly.

Thats a fact, but as with all of us ,you just get in too deep to give up "money pits" is an understatement,at least it sounds like an easy fix this time

And for any of the fisher folk this little lot was from one fleet of nets our second best fleet ever,(yesterday) 51 turbot... might even cover the engine rebuild.

Little bit of JB weld and that will be fine!

    Damaged the bore much?

Had a ring break in my old fast road xr3i at 120 mph, took a .040" overbore to get the marks out.... Still beat the Cav SRi into the town with the engine shut down lol
