Yeah it does, I need to get it mapped again. Straight away though lower in the revs it's much nicer to drive, with the Chinese one it used to sort of jolt around almost like it struggled to spool up at all

Winter storage - my caddy lives in a standard small garage. No heating, no insulation, lighting or power!!! Went over to it the other day and popped the bonnet an there's condensation everywhere. I've now popped the bonnet open to see if that helps but anyone got any ideas what's best to do?

Some insulation would help, and maybe some silca gel bags in the engine bay.

The shipping company put them in the american cars i import for the same reason!

But I think you will be fighting a loosing battle unless you can heat and vent it

Can you maybe power a dehumidifier using solar? Run the hose to the outside?

Ah balls, it don't sound to positive! Problem is the garage is the other side of town, nowhere near my property so if I leave anything out it will probably get pinched! (Although it is in a nice area) think I might have a look at upgrading my storage space

Could you not try laying a ground sheet or tarp on the floor and parking the caddy on top, and then try covering it in blankets?

Cat litter crystals are basically silica gel. felight is one brand Tesco £3 put it in socks and tie a knot.
its surprising how much liquid they will absorb.
works well for keeping the inside of a mk2 van dry.

I have bought these tubs from Asda in the past for about a pound each. Peel off the lid and it sucks moisture into a jelly tub at the bottom

Couldn't recommend cat litter more, put it in an A4 sized tray in the footwells of the interior. As for the engine bay, bit more of a challenge as it's much less sealed

Try and get more ventilation in the garage.

I rent a garage off the council for my trailer and random car bits. That’s just a small standard garage with no power or insulation but must be vented well because it’s never damp in there.

My garage at home is not insulated and I just run a dehumidifier and it keeps everything dry.

it probably doesn't have a DPM in the concrete - my old coo shed was the same, concrete always felt damp.

yeah it always feels damp in there, to be fair there's loads of shit in there so clearing it out would probably help. wen't over there last night but i'd left the fucking bonnet shut so didn't know if that helped. it's now open to see if that makes a difference.

New little project getting sorted. As with most fast caddys, when cornering right and fast acceleration i suffer with fuel starvation if there's less than half a tank of fuel.
So i've been after a swirl pot setup for a while, didn't fancy paying £120 for a new bulkhead mount tank though, along with all the other parts needed. so, i found this tank second hand for £30 with the wrong outlets, so bought some weld on AN-6 and -8 fittings and got it all set up reasy for my brother in law to tig up for me. just need to buy a secondary pump now and i'm good to go. Also, managed to get a bargain. £10 for three "fragola" (some fancy american brand) -AN6 90 degree fittings, they're meant to be £22 EACH!
