    Hi guys, hows things.

    Its been a whilst.

Unfortunatly work/time commitments have meant that the poor caddy has had to sit unattended for a pretty long time.
However never one to quit, I now have more time on my hands and have just moved house so have somewhere to work on it again.

Heres a few pics from the day I moved.

    INSIDE:

The dash is now all installed as is the carpet and the centre console is ready to go in.

I have had to do quite a bit of wiring but now all the vw electrics are mated to the BMW dash switches including the bmw twist and pull headlight switch.

all the vw heater pipes have been mated to the bmw vents.

I need to install the new headlining and rear/side panels as well as getting the door cards retrimmed to match the seats.

My boost, oil and aftermarket speedo/intrument dials all work now as well although i need to mount the speed sensor on the driveshaft still.

    OUTSIDE:

I have changed the rims and need to lower it still and the brakes need bleeding.

I need to get my new rear clusters and mount my tailgate then look at lining the bed and doing the final chrome touches.

I will keep you updated (hopefully more regularly

    Steve

    Hi All.

Well its been a long long time since I updated this thread.

Sadly I went from a regular to a stanger as work, family and projects took over and the poor caddy took a back seat but thought I would give a quick update.

So I finished the bulk of the work in april last year and got an MOT on it.

I've driven about in it locally a bit and am just working through the finishing touches.

So other than fitting some door speakers a new heater control knob and linking the speedo gauge the interior is done with new headlining, seats, carpet etc and the dash all mated up.

The rebuilt pump is on but I think I may need to adjust my timing slightly as whilst it starts and pulls great its a little rough on idle.

The varnish had started to come off the bed liner so I have Raptor pained it.

    Love that stuff.

So pretty much there now minus some silly bits.

    Bring on the better weather
