Can anyone tell me which if any alloys from other makes/models will go on my pick up as due to over wintering all four tyres are cracked and bulging i therefore need four/five new tyres anyway so thought it might be a good idea to put a set of alloys on it however having already spent a small fortune buying and repairing other problems far to numerous to mention i am a bit strapped for the old green backs therfore a set i can get from a scrappy say that are fitted to a mass produced model therefore allowing a bit more choice to get some good ones would be quite good, nothing to bling nor wide as its a camper van and quite haevy as is i dont want to put to much strain on the power steering or do anything to the ride or handling etc .
All suggestions would be helpfull

Four bolts, spaced 100mm apart.
Wheels from these will fit;
Mk1 Golf. Mk2 Golf.
Mk3 Golf (4 stud). Scirocco, Corrado (4 stud), Polo.
Some Vauxhall and new mini (with a sand flapper on the inner hub bit!)
Good luck, theres lots of choice out there.
Best to stick to VW to be sure, theres loads of cheap alloys out there!!!
I'm not sure, but I guess the old skoda also uses the same hubs as the felicia, so there "might" be something available for them?
Check this website out, its very good!!!

Check this out as well http://www.alcar-wheelwright.co.uk/AlcarKonfigurator/produktion/html/set.php4?lang=ENG&site=25&language=1
I find it invaluable as you can play with the same wheel on different cars and look at the tech specs. for comparision.
Your wheel choice would also inclue 4-studs from Seat (part of VW group), opening up more possibilities.
Another one includes wheels from a Mazda MX-5, most of which are 14" but special editon models had a nice 15" as well.
I have seen people fitting 18's but I wouldn't advise anything above 16" with a 195/45 or 195/40 tyre. I'm running these with lowered suspension and it's a bit thrashy. Better would be a 15" with 195/45 tyre to keep the same rolling radius I think.

Cheers for that guys much appriciated it will take a while to read it and devulge it all but your input is invaluable .
One other thing anyone know of anywhere that braeks specifically skoda parts and felicia/pick up parts as i think on closer inspection i have purchased a real bucket here we have been severly stiched up to say the least, this was meant to be a quick fix use it for the summer months and do a good quality rebuild in the winter however looks like its going to be a summer rebuild no holiday and on the road for winter or at this rate possibly summer next year, well what a bummer Skodas who would av em, us crazy "b`s" thats who.
All in all i like what ive got its ideal only i would rather of been able to use it for a while which doesnt look likely with the selector problems alone i am going to be at it for a while just getting it dry and running right.
Anyway sell,a vi/
Onwards and upwards if anyone wants me ill be in the garage "permanently i think" lol
Any help to source breakers and performance parts suppliers would assist immensely and save me a bit of valuable time,im sure .
TARRA FOR NOW

Depending on what parts you are after you could be as well buying a 2nd hand Felicia car. These go for much less that the pick-up (as little as a couple of hundred quid) and everything from the front doors forward should be a straight fit (I think).
You could get a Laurin and Klement special edition and use its leather front seats, door cards, gaiters... for the inside. Get a low mileage one and you could swap the engine and box and even better still try to find one with a nice set of alloys that you like. Put all you old stuff back in the car and sell it for what you paid for it.
What are your long-term plans?

My long term plans are to blow the sodding thing up, after which i will endeavour to rebuild it into a serviceable vehicle,[i hope].
On a serious note its going for mot tonight/tommorow, by then i will know of the severity of the work required to bring it up to scratch and make the truck at least roadworthy if not really clean.
I would like to have it looking really good and as cool as possible with as many extras as possible aslo, like the idea of the leather interior etc, but where to find one is the big problem, as a limited edition skud for not a lot o cally dash seems unlikely, however maybe one of you knows better. ???
I need to use this truck as my daily runner when all is said and done, so it cant be to extreme, also it cant be to low as it has to be able to carry the extra weight required of it when the caravanette part is on it, so im in a dilema, it already has a body kit on it all be it not to well fitted but thats not to much of a problem to solve, however it will also require a paint job, to get it looking as it should a new bonnet and possibly 2 new wings also, so again a donor car seems to make sence.
I must look into that but as far as i know not many available in Scotland, again i may be wrong i would love to haer from anyone who has one for sale very very cheaply an estate or 5 door with alloys and a clean interior would suit me best, i would also like one with the front fog lights as well as living in the country side it helps on dark nights.
Any further help would be appriciated to source the parts i need in Scotland preferably to cut down travelling etc.
Know of any good Skoda braekers or scrapyards. ???
Yours
