Golf - Caddy tank swap?

My golf donor car has a 8 month old fuel tank fitted, can I swap it to the caddy or keep it as a spare?

thay are TOTALLY diffrent :? the caddys like a box the golf like a flat wobbly pancake :) stick it on ebay you may get some pennys for it
