is the only caddy out there with a injection system in place the sport?
i need a injection type fuel tank for the caddy, will any other vw tanks fit in place that have the necessary pumps for a injection engine system?

what lump are you thinking of jon? as the caddy used k-jet which will overfuel a digifant controlled engine IIRC. this is one for al/kev or one of those guys as they've ovecome fuel issues with their vr and al did with toby's 1.8t.

You don't need to change tank, just fit the pump and lines needed to run the engine. The fuel outlets are at the bottom on a caddy tank so no problems there.

so just take the stuff from the passat and use that?

We used tank as std and bought a new fuel injection pump from Demon Tweeks, I think it cost £100 i total but it is certainly up to the job and very quiet, I just told them what I wanted it to do and they told me what I needed. 8mm Tubing if I remember correctly.
Make sure you fit a good fuel filter as the one I fitted from new has gone black already!
The K jet cars had an accumulator and they run high pressure...not as high as the new FSI at 2000PSI though!
