theres a company in germany that make wide steels for smart cars. Look just like that. Nice thing is smart cars are pcd 4 x100. Think i saw this in PVW or golf+ a few months ago i'll try to find the web site address

I thought smart cars have only got 3 wheel bolts?

Paulo, would anyone ever bother us for having banded steels? the way I see it is any occifer that knows what they are would probably also appreciate them so would not pull you for it....

As you rightly say, only rozzers in the know would know...
And anyway, at the very most you would get a VDRS, which gives you 7 days to take em off, get a bit of paper signed by a garage and then present it at the cop shop.
Then, just put dem steelies back on and 'Ave it!!!

tried to buy a set of those rimms last month off german ebay, they went for peanuts but the guy refused to post them to the uk.

can anyone provide the low down on how to make these as my mate is an exceptional welder?

Is that the 2 piece mk2 chin spoiler? I just found one of them in a box of new parts I had kicking about. Does it fit straight on or do you have to modify them a bit?

Finally....Here are the Details!!

Engine:1.8L 8v (84 GTI), Chrome valve cover and alternator, K&N filter. 4 TO 1 supersprint header with 2&1/4" exhaust connected to a Magnaflow full stainless muffler with dual 3" tips. Custom skid plate under oil sump.

Chassis:8x13" stock vw steelies all round. APEX 60mm springs (front) De-arched rear springplate (rear). Brembo brakes with stainless steel braided lines (front). Chrome neuspeed upper strut brace.

Outside:Painted BMW blue. Mk1 front clip, JOM front grill with lip spoiler, euro bumper, duckbill spoiler, Inpro Crystal MK1 headlights, indicators and side markers. M3 style rear lights, single wiper, armour door plates, stubby antenna.

Inside:90 Jetta dash, Mk2 instrument cluster, Passat seats, Momo steering wheel, MK4 cup holder.

great caddy dude... i'm seeing more and more widened stock steelies, and have gotta say they look awesome - saw a set of the 14" 16 holed ones on the vortex forum the other day, which look sweet.
