noisy pump

got acaddy on a k plate with a tsr 1.9 engine in it, wondering if anyone can help me. I thought i had a problem with the fuel pump as it was making a zzzzzzzz sort of a sound. Changed the pump to a corrado pump and accumulator .sorted!really quiet thought it had solved the problem.( not) Got another pump put it in ran it till the engine was warm, started zzzzzz ing again only after it got warm though. Noticed air in the return pipe. Went a bit more in depth ,off withthe fuel meter the diapraghm has a pin hole in it ? Could it be this? Or could it be the copper washer on the wrong side of the banjo,you should have one on either side,and that is on the return pipe to the tank.

what sort of engine is it? if its running a K jet the pump will "buzz" they do that. and its a good sign. if it's quiet it normally spells trouble!

what sort of engine is it? if its running a K jet the pump will "buzz" they do that. and its a good sign. if it's quiet it normally spells trouble!yeh its a mk2 ev engine and the pump is a corrado 16 v, its quite hard to describe the sound the pump makes because it purrs when cold but makes an intermitent zzz zzz zzz sound when the engine is warm.then the caddy runs like a bag of nails.
