well i got me a set of 40mm webers last weekend with linkages and manifold, already ported and the carbs jetted for a 8v. really happy with the condition. only paid R1500 (£136). will be slapped on hopefully before our next gymkhana as im currently have a hard time cornering with the current 36DCD thats on.
still gotta get the Huco high volume pump, inlet manifold gasket and some high kPa fuel hosing.
currently running only a 276 cam but am more than likely going to go up to a 288 as most guys run that and seems the ideal setup.
have any of you had any problems with the branch manifold or headers as u may call it. alot of guys say i need to fit a heat shield or atleast powercote the branch manifold/header?
well anyways, heres a pic of the sideys, need a bit of a clean and a pic of the last gymkhana aswell.
