intercooler for 1.6 turbo

the golf mk2 gtd had an intercooler from factory.........IIRC. i assume you are talking about a turbo diesel lump?

Merc sprinter van one's fit in the caddies so I've heard and you then just make up your pipe work....easy job.

Or you could run a charge cooler instead.

I'm trying to get info on intercooling my caddy too. Like what size (cubic inches, long, narrow, and thin, or more compact?), are there any at the junkyards that work better than others, etc.? Can anybody out there point us in the right direction? Do we need to adjust the injector pump and do the injectors have to be reworked? Thanks.
