n/s tail light

the o/s tail light went on the truck last week, i ran it for a week with one light, however, on sunday that failed leaving no lights:(. i have changed both bulbs but now only the o/s light works[?] can anyone shine any light on this[?]lol
the brake lights are working

no electrical genius but i have noticed when playing with the back lights A) how much the wiring gets scrunched up when fitting the lights back in and B) how dirty it all gets. maybe a good clean and check the earthing?

I had a B reg caddy a few years back and that had the same problem the wire's that go into the connectors were like jimmy said scrunched and filthy, i ran a test on the wire only to find that it had broken in several places near the connecter. might be something to look out for.

CHEERS GUYS, YOUR SPOT ON ABOUT THE AMOUNT OF s**tE THATS BEHIND THE LIGHTS, IT WAS FILTHY WHEN I TOOK THEM OFF & AS FOR THE AMOUNT OF WIRES BEHIND THEM!!! IT TOOK 20MINS TO GET THE ONE BACK ON
