CVs & Axels

Does anyone know if the Axels & CVs from an '84 Scirocco 5 speed will fit on an '81 4 speed Diesel? I have to drive up to Northern Ca. this Sunday & I'm worried the ones on my PickUp won't make it.

get a set of calipers to measure and check but i think both are 90mm.
