I met another Caddy owner at the Eurosport Dyno Day. I also met four other people from San Diego who had Caddy projects underway. We had all discussed the possibility of driving together up to Santa Clara for the New Dimensions Show in May. My brother would join us in San Jose with his own caddy.

Although the chances are unlikely, there is a possibility of at least three and possibly up to seven Caddy's side by side at the show.

Anyone else attending the May New Dimensions show in a Caddy?

i'm planning on it ;) i just moved to washington from hollywood and went last year, pretty fun show. would be fun to help represent the caddy force this year, despite the full blown project appearance it may currently emit :)

Caddys in California could rival the Caddys at the German shows. 2 Years ago I was the only one.

Hey, we've had a few Caddy gatherings in the SF Bay Area, Rodney made the first one:

When is the meet? And where, exactly? I'd love to talk to people about them. I am pretty sure I want to buy one and need to learn as much as I can.

BTW, VWcaddy- I've been trying to email you, but everthing bounces back. Same with other links to caddy's.

What e-mail address are you using? What error message are you getting? I just sent myself an e-mail using the email icon on my post and it worked fine.

I think I have mail problems. If I click a link to send mail, it bounces back, but if i type it in compose, it seems to go through.

Anyway, I researched more and found the time location of the event. I hope to be able to get to it. I'd love to check out some caddy's in good shape.

I am interested in one with a 1.6, FN 5-speed. The body is straight, I think the interior's good (haven't seen it). I'll go to another forum to ask about it.
