Depends on the Offset of the rims...

But a common set up involves 7" wide rims and 205 tyres

ie. 205/50R15 on a 15x7 or 205/45R16 on a 16x7...you get the idea...

the wheels that im looking at need adaptors for them to fit on the caddy because there a five stud pattern so im assuming that they will be the correct offset when fittted with the adaptors

Also depends on how much you lower by & how stiff the suspension is.

Never assume anything...If the wheels are VW 5 bolt, the adapter plates will make them wider...you could do a 5 bolt conversion from a Corrado or the like...if they are not VW wheels the offsets may be different in whic case you'll have to work with it...

Caddyboy is right also you are changing alot if you are also lowering/stiffening...

The good news is that there are ways of getting around most issues...
What rim size and type did you WANT to use? (we'll start there)

the wheels that i want to fit come from a porsche 928 and there 16's but vary in width the sets that ive seen are 6's upfront and 8's out back. suspension will involve axle flip and air bags all round

hmmmm air bags.... bling! been discussing wide rims this evening. reckon 10 inch rims with cut away arches is the way to go. Seen those Ford F150s with the twin wheel rear and arch extensions to boot?? Thats the look I crave! ultra wide caddy! then I'm getting the orange paint out. Sod it!

Going for some D90's or???

I believe Eurospec makes a set of rotors that are drilled 5 lug as you'll need so you won't have to use spacers.

if it wasn't them then it was bildon motorsports here in the US.

Or was it that Bildon sold the Eurospec stuff?? lol you'll have to ring em' and see yourself. iirc the set of 4 rotors should run you about $200 US.
