fuel feed hose-what the #*$%????

Who the hell at volkswagen decided to have the fuel feed hose on the passenger side of the fuel tank 11 or 12mm on one end and 7 or 8mm onthe other end???Is that just stupid?? Anyone have any ideas that work???Thanks

Why do brake bleeder nipples and brake lines have the same issue? 4 bleeder nipples 4 different wrenches needed.

Ok I can't blame VW for mine the previous owners also fashioned a wood radiator mount (I'm assuming that's the wood isn't stock equipment). Who knows what other evil things they did to my truck.

Is there a branch of DCS for the mistreatment of VW's?

hey Dave 68 I had the same problem a few weeks ago the only source I found for a new one was the dealer at 55 dollars canadian.Kinda choked about the price but it does fit perfect.

I had the same problem, I got the 2 lines(i think 12mm&9mm(not sure)) I used an airline union and hose clamps to connect the two, been a year no problem since..

Thanks v-duby,I used a barbed steel hose fitting with 5/16' hose on one end,7/16' on the other.Got truck running today and NO LEAKs!!!! Thanks again
