Picked this up last Thu and did the long drive from Fife to Surrey. Gave it a bit of the Meguiars treatment the other day and this is how it came out:

Might be having some front end work done to add my influence to the work done by previous owners.

Plate is going back to previous owner as well any day now.

Want to get a debadged grill but no one seems to know 100% what will fit? Anyone?

This is low and slow, and moy other car (see sig) is to go!

Anyway, hi!

Very sweet looking van and welcome to the forum :thumbs_up

Just one thing though, the last time I seen this van I did notice that the rear axle did seem to have not had the saddles re-welded meaning it can twist and move, round axle on flat springs=no good XXC .....I could be wrong but please check for your safety :thumbs_up

Badgeless grills are from the polo 6K chassis, saloon polo with a boot and made by FK IIRC

Cheers for the info, any ideas who sells those badgeless grills?

Try Gwent VW .....tel: 01633 214333

www.gwentvw.co.uk

I don't see them listed on there site so best to ring?

Jimmy will know for sure and I'm sure he will be along soon as he's the van guru.

Mine was never an RS, I just drove it like a loon!

Still got my Evo 8 but I need something to cart these two around in:
