Just thought i would say a quick hello.
Ive just bought my first caddy and as its my first ever project car i will be asking some silly questions but will try to keep that to a minimum.
The caddy isnt in to bad a condition is just needing a bit of tlc and alot of time, as im a novice.
The brakes, suspension, engine need a overhaul but thats easy, the main thing is the body is solid just the dents and scrapes up the side that really need alot of work. :)

Will now try to post pics hope this works wish me luck.

im loving the sign writing on it , if you plan to repaint it ,take some photos of the sign writing and put it back on when you are done ,you dont see many vans etc around anymore with painted on sign writing :D :td

I was thinking of leaving it the way it is and go for a sort of rat look on it but not sure.
My freinds a sign writer and is excellent with the airbrush so might get somthing a bit special on it. :thumbs_up

I was thinking that too! I suppose I could be classed as either coming from Newcastle, too far from the southern shows but closer to the one Scottish show that I can't go to!

caddy19- that front bumper is just a standard black plastic one with the black plastic pulled off leaving the metal rail behind it exposed!- easy enough to do with a crow bar :D

I've been using my '89 diesel caddy for my daily commute for the last 13 months, and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have done the 5 speed conversion, but I am now on the lookout for a 1.9TD to give it a bit more grunt.
