Hi chaps and chappettes,

I've just purchased my 1st caddy. Ive always wanted a mk1 but due to my commute and funds that will have to wait until a few years time. I have owned VAG vehicles for a few years, I've had a few T4's and now I have a T5 which is our weekend/summer vehicle.

My caddy is the super slow SDI (2000 year) with high mileage. It's been lowered and had a satin paint job and Cupra front end. It has Schmidt modern line 15's on. I needed a small van as I am renovating our house and the little Arosa just doesn't fit much in the boot ha ha :i_dont_kn. I hate carrying junk in the T5 so needed a bigger daily driver and I'd been interested in a caddy for a while

Initial Plans are;
Give it a deep clean in the cab and rear
Sort out a few little problems like dash lights, fix the headlight switch etc
Raise it slightly as I'll be using it as a daily driver and my rear lane has some hoooooge pot holes. Got myself a shackle kit for the rear.
Paint the dash and door cards to freshen up the cab
Fit some decent speakers
Insulate/carpet line the rear
Fit centre console with cup holders ( already got 1 sorted - I need cup holders in my life :thumbs_up)
Give her a service

Future plans are;
TDI conversion
280mm brake conversion
Uprate coilovers/shocks on front and back
Paint door shuts
Short shift if possible?
Possibly change the steering wheel as there is currently a momo style sporty wheel and I prefer the standard later vw 3 spoke wheel.
Fit central locking and electric windows
Change front seats to leather
Banded steels or g60 wheels
Cut out small bit of rust on rear door shut near door bellow and weld piece in.
Possibly repaint it in a similar gloss 2k grey colour??

I can't copy the url from photo bucket or Flickr from my iPad to post some photos? Can anyone assist? On my laptop I used to just copy the url and past it on but it doesn't allow you to do this from the iPad? Strange?

I've already had some advice from a few of you and I've a,ready bought from Al who will, no doubt be having more of my hard earned, in the near future. Great service the other day.... Thanks Al :thumbs_up

I know when I saw them I thought 'holy shit I need this van just for the wheels' ha ha

Does anyone know if 280mm brakes will fit under 15's ok?

I've sorted the problem now and just downloaded the photo bucket app.
