How many MPG on average does a diesel Caddy do?

I would guess, through the 3 I've had:

1.6 N/A - 4 speed box - 35-41MPG
1.6 N/A - 5 speed box - 38-44MPG

The most I've ever gotten was 46.7 MPG in the Sportruck.

The truckdoza has a Turbocharged 1.6, and the mileage has been all over the map, between 35 and 45, very dependant on how I drive.

Yeh it would depend on how you drive if you drove like a old fart and didnt get the revs to high or max speed you could probs get the MPG over 50, cheers for responding so fast, James

It does vary a lot with the truck, condition and how you drive. Maybe even how you hold your hand when you rest your elbow in the window... who knows?

That said, I got 46 on the uphill sections of a trip from Utah to Colorado, and that was with my foot in the engine on the highway sections. Kansas was 39mpg on the flat & bucking headwinds. Last trip from Northern Utah with both wife & I and stuff in the back (camper shell on) to Vegas & back averaged 47.5. That was doing right at 70 on the freeway most of the time. Stanadyne performance fuel additive at 4 oz per 15 gal of diesel fuel.

I agree - that Stanadyne additive makes a HUGE difference. I can feel the increase in power, and notice the increase in mileage that's for sure.
