I have already posted a bit but I guess I should tell you a bit etc....

I am in the middle of building a retro look (small bumpers chrome bits etc..), caddy with a 20vt engine and 6 speed gear box.
I picked up a Kreg 1.8i Caddy with only 28,000 miles it took months to fine cause I want to have a nice bed not have it covered up, and a good tailgate. It was a shame to take such a mint low millage Caddy apart but it has to be done, and because teh condition is so good, it will be staying white, no colour change. (maybe in a few years time ;))
I have been into dubs for a long time now and have owned quite a few dubs and the Mrs is into it as much as me, sometimes that is a good thing but it does get a bit expensive.

At the mo we have a Golf Limited and a 20vt mk1, a polo GT which is the everyday driver and the Caddy we are building. (The mk1 isn't staying once the Caddy is done)

We run a region of club gti and go to as many shows as possible.

Thats about it really for now :)

Have only been doing it for a few weeks, but everything is out of the engine bay and it is going into the bodyshop on tueday for the engine bay to be painted, that is after I spend tomorrow welding up holes that I don't need anymore.
I will take some pic's before it goes.

This is my Mk1 Golf, the Caddy won't have such a smoothed engine bay as this but it will give you the idea.
