10 x 13 wheels easy, tyres for them no chance!
The smallest profile is a 50 which is huge on a 10

Welcome Bilas......... man that caddy is beautiful!

Bridgey, they go well....... just dont expect miricals!

my 1.6 on twin 40's hit an indicated speed of 120mph, she was still pulling but on the 4spd box i didnt want to rev it any harder... I will have to get some equipment to measure an accurate speed. Ive don a few more mods to compliment the carbs, i doubt the engine would be that great if left totally stock running just the webbers.

Its the way the carbs deliver the power that really makes the difference, much more edgy and fun..... and as stated, THE NOISE!

Lastly its very time consuming, expensive and unreliable... my engine has easily cost 3k now, all that for 87whp! and for the last two days she hasnt started!

So the equipment is expensive, the labour is expensive and buying a fleet of cars to run is expensive!!

Hope that helps mate!

ive just partially fitted a set of 40 DCOE's to my 1600 GTI lump.
which fuel pump did you use red or grey top?
also which throttle linkage LP1000 or LP2000?
im new to this carb business:D
and what did you use as blanking 'plates'? ive heard that gearbox sump plugs fit :i_dont_kn
P.s. Bilas, your caddy's looking pretty coo-el with those rims and the front panel:thumbs_up
